Trifecta
A downloadable Trifecta
Having and inspiration in two other famous card games; "The Mind" and "Lastuf Football", its set in a dark medieval time, where a rebellion surges against the "Kingdom", called the "Walkers".
The game works with two teams, one defending (Kingdom) and other attacking.(Walkers). These, have 3 characters to play, each with their own special ability!
Walkers team abilities
Assassin: can steal a Kingdom card before a battle (once per 2 turns).
Hunter: when team attacking, if your team wins, can DENY a player that is helping to defend the next team attack that the Walkers do (when you use it you lose it, you will need to win another team attack to win this power again).
Wizard: can lower the power of a card defending (- 3 points) him or make another Walker card power stronger (+ 3 points).
Kingdom team
Soldier: In case he wins his battle, can throw himself in front of The Queen or The King to defend them (using the points he has on his card). If the attacking card power is stronger than his, he can sacrifice himself to defend, and revive after one battle round. This does not cost any Kingdom life points.
The Queen: The Queen can lure any Walker player and switch their power with her or with another player. (does not work when team defending)
The King: when your team wins a team defense, you win the power to DENY the next call for a “team attack” from the opposing team (when you use it you lose it, you will need to win another team defense to win this power again).
How does the game work?
The game has 62 cards
50 cards from 0 to 1, players will use these to battle against each other.
6 "level" cards, 3 for the Kingdom and 3 for the Walkers.
And 6 characters.
The game is set to play with teams of 3vs3 or 1v1, each player controlling their characters abilities.
Players draw 3 random number cards, they use these to battle.
When they gain a level, they receive their respective level card.
The objective of the Kingdom group is to defend their castle from the attacks of the Walkers. Using their health to defend it.
Before the third level of the Walkers, players battle against each other, using their card points, having 3 life points as a team. If all 3 players lose a turn, they lose a life, if not (at least one player wins a battle) they restart with other cards, another battle. When these points reach 0, the game ends.
but them.... TRIFECTAA!
The Walkers reached their maximum level and can directly attack the Castle, winning the chance to take life points directly.
When this occurs, if the Kingdom has reached level 3 too, they battle against each other, winning the team with the most points ADDED (the hunter has 3 points in his card, the Assassin 5 and the wizard 2, adding them they have a power of 10 points to attack)
In normal battles, wins the player with the higher card number.
If the Walker team reaches level 3 first and wins the chance to attack the Castle but the other team can't defend, they lose a life point instantly.
Level cards are achieved when a team succeeds in their attack, or defense. These cards can reach a maximum of 3 levels, being the 3rd strongest. They stay activated for the rest of the game.
Walkers level cards:
First level: each player has a buff on all their cards of 2+ points (if they attack with a 3 card, this turns into a 5). Assassin can now activate his ability.
Second level: walkers now can focus their power on only one player. Wizard can now activate his ability.
Third level: Walkers can now activate “team attack”. Hunter can now activate his ability.
Kingdom level cards:
First level: the players have now spikes in their castle, taking 2 attack power from each Walker card. Soldier can now activate his ability.
Second level: the Kingdom has now 4 health as a team instead of 3 (if they already lost a life point, they receive another). The Queen can now activate her ability.
Third level: can now defend “team attacks”. The King can now activate his ability.
So do you have what it takes to reach a Trifecta?
The Kingdom (or the Walkers) await!
